ON RUSH NOT BEING EXTREME
I have been telling certain friends for years that Rush Limbaugh is not extreme right wing politically. Of course I get ridiculed, and probably the silence from some of them means “not in agreement.” I just heard today Rush defending Rick Santorum’s response to a question on the size and roll of government. That was that there is a necessary government function. This brought to my mind the original point. Rush is the “center of this country.” The people I know who are on the extreme right wing politically, don’t even vote, have given up on the system, and have given up on interest in any party. Rush is not any of that. Today’s program states what exactly proves the point.

How do we maesure or gauge the level or severity of extremes? Yes malitia style people that drop out of society and ultra right wing religious fundamentalists are far more extreme than Rush…. They have little or no voice in society though. I beleive the difference is that some choose to try and effect change and others simply ignore society or try to create a separate one of their own.
