What is the FAO
The FAO is Federal Accounting Office. It is a fictional office in Washington DC, responsible for tracking and recording and therefore accounting for, all government expenditures. As a government agency it is an oversight function of the government and is separate from the very real Office of Budget and Finance. Which begs the question, how do the two agencies differ? Office of Budget and Finance is not mentioned in this work. [This is a work of fiction and any resemblance of names and organizations is purely coincidental.] The Doc novel is  available in the Kindle store at http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Ddigital-text&field-keywords=timothy+j+desmond&rh=n%3A133140011%2Ck%3Atimothy+j+desmond&ajr=0
